Your tasks:
- Be the product owner for a highly innovative cloud-based sales software as a replacement of the current point of sales software
- Define a product vision that focus on customer experience, aligns to the overall corporate omnichannel strategy and delivers a sustainable competitive advantage in MediaMarktSaturn local stores in all active countries
- Develop and implement a product roadmap based on the product vision
- Collaborate closely with contributing teams and stakeholder (internal & external) departments such as Development, BI, Marketing, Controlling, Legal, hardware suppliers, audit companies etc.
- Research and analyse innovations and features with strong customer focus, maintain relationships with thought leaders and industry analysts to enable short- and long-term product development planning
- Synthesize market changes and technology improvements into actionable improvements for our Omnichannel platform
Anforderungsprofil
- University degree in business administration with focus on software development or information systems
- Several years of work experience in product management (Point of sales/ Fintech/Financial Services Industry) and strong leadership skills as well as experience with agile development process (Scrum)
- Ability to develop a 360° view of a product from a customer, business, market, legal/ regulatory and technical perspective
- Strong and well-developed analytic and problem-solving skills; self-starter with passion for product development and personal responsibility
- Results-orientation with an ability to execute hands on and complete deliverables in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Subject matter expertise (Point of Sale/ POS) in technologies and products
- Ability to communicate what is possible and what will have the biggest impact (business value) on business
